Keep the curls this winter!

Posted by Wagman Hair on

These curly styles will flatter any face! Large, flirty curls aren’t just for summer - try them in winter, too! They’ll keep you nice and toasty on those cold, blustery days. Be sure to prep your hair for the colder weather though! Follow a couple of these hair care tips to keep your curly hair looking flawless this winter...

Double Up on the Conditoner! Adding a little extra moisture will help keep your curly hair extensions smooth and bouncy. Condition after shampooing and follow up with a high quality leave-in conditioning spray. Coating your hair with a small amount of Argan Oil will protect it from drying out, too.

Shampoo with Lukewarm Water. Shampoo at least once a week during the winter months, as needed. Always use quality, sulfate-free products to ensure long lasting extensions.

Keep it Dry. Pat your extensions dry. Do not leave the house with wet hair.

Use Less Heat. Avoid using flat irons, blow dryers and curling irons if possible. This will prevent breakage and promote longevity. If heat tools are a vital part of your styling routine, be sure to start with a heat protectant.

Cover it Up. Cover your head with a scarf or hat to protect your hair from the cold wind.

Style it. Keep your hair styled in buns, topknots, twists and French rolls protecting it from the snow and sleet.

Don’t let the winter spoil your curly hair fun! Keep your hair from getting dry or damaged with these tips! Above all else, with the hot temperatures inside and the cool temperatures outside don’t forget to moisturize your curls to last the wintery months!
